Art & Action Parties!
Looking for something creative this year? Choose from one of the party descriptions below or we can customize a something just for you. Art & Action brings everything you need: supplies, tables, chairs, smocks, we even have tents available!
Art & Action Parties
Give your party guests the opportunity to shake out the silies and express creativity in a custom-themed party that combines yoga and art. Our 2 hour parties include 45 minutes of children's yoga, led by YogaKids certified, Lucy Curtis, and art projects taught by Amanda McGee. Both the yoga and art projects will reflect the party's theme.
Party Party: Make fabulous party hats, yoga streamers, sing, dance and more in our most popular party, The Party Party. Participants will party it out with yoga poses and create a delicious-looking cupcake sculpture!
Artistic Animals: Choose zoo, farm, reptile, or bugs themed projects . Each participant will create two critters to keep, and join in on a yoga class inspired by amazing animals!
Making History: Paint, sculpt, or draw like a famous artist. Pick an artist to inspire great works and the party will explore the art work trough yoga poses and art projects. Projects to choose from include: Chagall-style Landscapes, Giacometti sculptures, Calder wire circus, Kahlo portraits, Picasso insturments and much more!
Transportation: Any form of transit available! Party-goers make one: 3D airplane painting, a hot-air balloon, train painting-collage, wooden car or boat, or rocket-ship in space. In yoga class, they'll act out their favorite mode of transport and cool down with a magical savasana (quiet rest) trip.
Out-of-This-World: Wierd aliens, ufos and rocket ships oh my! Act like and create an alien, fly a ufo, and explore the sky through yoga and art projects!
Modern Monsters: Make monster masks, vivid portraits, or sculptures. Play a monsterously funny drawing game, stomp, growl, and mash with monster yoga!
These are just a few party ideas. You might prefer a pirate, princess, fairytale, garden, Dr. Suess, or otherwise-themed event. Contact us for more information on these or for customized plans!

Prices and Scheduling
Most parties start at $250 for up to 10 participants. Art supplies, table, chairs, and smocks* are included. Larger parties and parties under the tent may incur addition charges.
Amanda is available most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Please book your party at least 3 weeks (21 days) in advance. Events scheduled less than 21 days in advance are subject to a rush fee.
*Although smocks are provided, it is strongly suggested that attendees be reminded that this is an art party and that art can be messy. Everyone should wear old or "art" clothes. Even the
most careful artist will often find that paint can make it's way through and around almost anything!
